Tuhkimontie 10 -videoinstallaatio kuvaa 50-luvun kerrostalon peruskorjausta itähelsinkiläisessä lähiössä. 10-kanavainen videoteos seuraa näkymiä sisätilasta ulkotilaan neljässä saman portaikon huoneistossa kahden vuoden ajan 2022-2023. Vuodenaikojen muutos ulkona vertautuu remontin etenemiseen sisätilassa. Näkymät samasta huoneesta eri kerroksissa havainnollistavat rakennuksen suhdetta omaan ympäristöönsä. Korjaustyön kuluessa osa huoneiden sisäpinnoista kuoriutuu rakentamisajankohdan asuun, tilassa on läsnä monta aikaa. Teos saa ensiesityksensä Galleria Forum Boxissa joulukuussa 2024.

The video installation Tuhkimontie 10 depicts the renovation of a 1950’s apartment building in an Eastern suburb of Helsinki. The 10-channel video work follows views from the interior to the exterior in four apartments for the duration of two years 2022-2023. Weather and seasons outside evolve in parallel with the progress of renovation inside. During the work, the interior surfaces of the building are peeled revealing materials last visible at the time of construction. The video work is presented for the first time in an exhibition in Gallery Forum Box, Helsinki, December 2024.
